Quality & Standards

At Daksh Scientific Instruments, we recognize that the safety of a bridge, a highway, or a high-rise building begins in the laboratory. Since 1996, our mission has been to provide the civil engineering industry with testing equipment that leaves no room for doubt.

Quality is not a final step in our process—it is the foundation of our manufacturing philosophy.

Our Core Quality Pillars

1. Adherence to National & International Standards

Every instrument we manufacture, from the simplest 150mm Cube Mould to our Digital CBR Load Frames, is designed and calibrated in strict accordance with recognized engineering codes:

  • IS (Indian Standards): Ensuring full compliance for domestic infrastructure projects.
  • ASTM & BS Standards: Meeting global benchmarks for material testing and research.
  • AASHTO: Adhering to standards for highway and transportation materials.

2. Rigorous Material Selection

Durability is the second half of quality. We use premium-grade Cast Iron, High-Tensile Mild Steel, and Anti-Corrosive Brass to ensure that our tools withstand the harsh environments of construction sites and high-frequency laboratories without losing their dimensional accuracy.

3. Multi-Stage Inspection Process

Before any product leaves our facility in the DSIIDC Bawana Industrial Area, it undergoes a 3-tier verification:

  • Dimensional Accuracy Check: Ensuring all moulds and cylinders meet the exact volumetric requirements.
  • Load Calibration: Verifying that our Cube Testing Machines provide precise force readings.
  • Operational Stress Test: Simulating field conditions to ensure long-term mechanical reliability.

Standardization Spotlight

To assist our clients in maintaining their own quality benchmarks, we provide equipment designed for the most critical standardized tests:

Testing DomainKey Standards Met
Soil TestingIS: 2720, ASTM D1883 (CBR, Sand Pouring, Moisture)
Concrete & CementIS: 516, IS: 4031, ASTM C39 (Compression, Slump, Moulds)
Bitumen & AsphaltIS: 1201-1220, ASTM D1559 (Marshal Stability, Extraction)
Aggregate TestingIS: 2386, ASTM C131 (Abrasion, Crushing, Flakiness)

Calibration & Certification

We provide detailed Internal Calibration Certificates with our high-precision digital instruments. Upon request, we can also facilitate Third-Party NABL Accredited Calibration for our machines, ensuring your laboratory is fully compliant for government audits and project certifications.

A Message from Our Leadership

“Our goal at Daksh is to ensure that every reading taken with our equipment is a true reflection of material strength. We don’t just sell instruments; we sell the assurance of safety.” > — Mayank Dhiman, Owner
